Job description

Role Overview

We are looking for a Catering / Facilities Supervisor to provide effective leadership to the Facilities staff within the Facilities Department and to be responsible for co‑ordination of duties throughout the Department within an allocated area.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ward meal orders, stock control and team scheduling.
• Organise the allocation of staff within the Department, so that all duties are covered by the flexible use of staff to ensure the smooth running of the service.
• Lead ward catering assistants to ensure that the shift runs efficiently.
• Develop quality initiatives and ensure excellent service provision and adherence to Trust policies and procedures.
• Liaise directly with the hospital wards and patients as part of the Department's quality initiatives.
• Act as a key link between the Facilities Site Manager for the further development of the service for both patients and staff.

Working Pattern

Working pattern over a 2 week rota with alternate week‑ends.

Enhanced hourly pay rates at week‑ends equating to £15.75ph on Saturdays and £19.72ph on Sundays.
