Job summary

Lancashire County Council is seeking reliable staff for casual catering roles in Primary Schools across the Preston/Longridge area. You will help prepare dining spaces, assist with food preparation and serving, and maintain clean catering areas.

The position is term-time only, with work as required to cover sickness. DBS disclosure will be required if successful, and there are opportunities to join a team delivering healthy, balanced meals to school children.

Salary £12.60 per hour | Casual Hours | Preston/Longridgearea

Lancashire County Council provide catering services to over 500 schools across Lancashire, serving over 60,000 school meals per day and we are looking for committedindividuals to join the service

You will work as part of a team in Primary Schools in the Preston/Longridge area, providing high quality, healthy, balanced meals for school children.

Key responsibilities vary between job roles

Prepare the dining area for service, including the moving and setting up of furniture and putting away

Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages

Clean all equipment and catering areas
