Job summary

Dovetail & Slate Ltd in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Catering Assistant to support the day-to-day operation of its catering service. You will help prepare and serve food, keep areas clean, and provide a friendly, efficient service to learners, staff and visitors.

A further education provider is looking for a Catering Assistant to support the day-to-day running of its catering service.

You'll help prepare and serve food, keep the kitchen and service areas clean and well stocked, and give learners, staff and visitors a friendly, efficient service throughout the day.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of food and drinks.
• Serving customers at the counter and handling transactions.
• Keeping kitchen, servery and dining areas clean, tidy and well presented.
• Following food hygiene and health and safety standards at all times.
• Working as part of a team to deliver a reliable service during busy periods.

What We're Looking For

Desirable (but not essential):

• Previous experience in a catering, hospitality or kitchen environment
