Job description

You will work as part of a team in St Laurence Primary School, providing high quality, healthy, balanced meals for school children.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the dining area for service, including the moving and setting up of furniture and putting away
• Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages
• Cleaning of all equipment and catering areas
• Work as part of a team
• Work under pressure and use own initiative
• Good customer care skills
• Previous catering and food preparation experience would be desirable

Working Hours & Days

• Monday to Friday
• Term time only + 4 days
• 10 hrs per week, 2 hrs per day, although hours are variable depending upon school meal uptake
• This position is part time, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent, the salary received will be paid on a pro‑ratà basis.
