We have an exciting opportunity at our school site in Ealing, W5 for a Catering Assistant to join the team at Accent. This is a permanent position, working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 2:30pm term‑time only – all school holidays off!

Responsibilities

• General kitchen duties
• Driving company vehicle to collect meals from the main kitchen
• Putting away deliveries
• Food preparation
• Serving, cleaning and washing up
• Assisting with inventory management
• Maintaining high standards of presentation of food and replenishing counters so they remain attractive throughout the service time
• Speaking to each customer in a friendly, helpful and professional manner
• Undertaking all basic training and working effectively with colleagues as part of a team

Requirements

• Good communication skills and a clear understanding of the English language
• Experience in a similar role is an advantage; full training will be provided if required
• Proof of right to work in the UK
• Two referees provided at interview stage
• Enhanced DBS disclosure required (with supporting evidence)
