Overview

We have three exciting opportunities at our school site in Culham, Abingdon for Catering Assistants to join the team at Accent. These are permanent positions, working either 15, 20 or 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term-time only - so all the school holidays off.

Responsibilities

• General kitchen duties
• Putting away deliveries
• Food preparation
• Serving, cleaning and washing up
• Assisting with inventory management
• Maintaining high standards of presentation of food and replenishing counters, keeping them looking attractive throughout the service time
• Speaking to each customer in a friendly, helpful and professional manner
• Undertaking all basic training and working effectively with colleagues as part of a team

Requirements and expectations

• This is a customer facing position; good communication skills and a clear understanding of the English language are required
• Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate
• Due to public transport limitations in the local area, candidates should have access to their own means of transportation
