Job summary

University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a friendly and reliable catering assistant to join our busy restaurants and coffee bars. You will help provide great customer service to staff, patients and visitors, serving food and drink and operating a till in a barista-style coffee bar.

As part of the catering team, you will also be involved in stock refills and general cleaning duties, ensuring high-quality service while complying with Trust policies and procedures.

Job description

University Hospitals Dorset is seeking a friendly hardworking, reliable person to support the Catering team to provide great customer service in our busy restaurants and coffee bars. Duties include serving food and drink, working in a Barista style coffee bar , operating a till, refilling of stock and general cleaning duties., As a member of the catering team, you'll be responsible for providing an efficient, high-quality service to staff, patients and visitors, operating in compliance with corporate and local policies and procedures.

UHD are investing, developing and transforming Trust services in line with the New Hospital Programme. As part of this, some services may move site this year or next, either temporarily or permanently. Recruiting Managers will be happy to answer any service-specific questions at interview.

If a role or service relocates as part of a planned move, excess mileage will not bereimbursed. Travel from home to the new work base will be classed as a normal commute. Any other changes will be managed under Trust or national terms and conditions.
