Job Opening: Part-Time Cook at Emmaus Cambridge

Closing Date: 26 May 2025

Location: Emmaus Cambridge

Salary: £24,102 pro rata per annum (FTE)

Type: Part-time (15 or 22.5 hours per week)

About the Role

Are you passionate about cooking and supporting others? Do you enjoy working in a lively environment and making a positive impact? Emmaus Cambridge is looking for two part-time colleagues to join our team, working two or three days a week (7.5 hours per day), including at least one weekend day.

Responsibilities
  • Cooking in our busy coffee shop or community kitchen alongside our companions
  • Supporting and nourishing our companions, helping them rebuild confidence and self-esteem
About Emmaus Cambridge

We provide a stable environment and meaningful work for people who have experienced homelessness. Our social enterprise aims to help our companions regain independence and confidence.

Additional Information

The coffee shop is located just off the A10, with free parking available. Please note, the location is not on bus or train routes. Benefits include an employee assistance program, increasing holiday allowances with service, and a welcoming staff team.
