Exemplar Health Care is seeking a Catering Assistant for Meadowcroft care home in Sutton-in-Ashfield. You will support the Chef with meal prep, help set dining tables and maintain a clean kitchen to ensure a positive dining experience for residents.

The role offers part-time hours (20 per week) at £12.71 per hour, with induction and ongoing training. Experience is helpful but not essential; a caring, team‑minded approach is valued.

Qualificações

• Experience in catering not essential but helpful.
• Commitment to high food hygiene and safety standards.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a care home setting.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with basic food preparation for residents.
• Keep kitchen clean, wash up, sanitize surfaces and maintain hygiene.
• Prepare and set tables, support Chef with meal service.
• Understand residents’ dietary needs to help menu planning.
• Interact with residents to gather feedback on meals.
• Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines.
• Be a supportive team member within the Catering Team.
