Job summary

apetito Limited is seeking a reliable catering assistant for its on-site staff restaurant in the United Kingdom. You will support full catering services for up to 500 employees, handling food preparation, service, and presentation while maintaining high hygiene standards.

In this customer-facing role you will take orders, serve food, and assist with counters, buffets, and daily cleaning. Working hours are 22:30–03:00, Sunday to Thursday, 22.5 hours per week, with benefits and a bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• Desirable: food safety certification or NVQ in cookery

Responsibilities

• Tea & coffee preparation and delivery for functions, including making homemade cakes
• Hot counter food service and buffet preparation
• Prepare sandwiches and salads and assist with food preparation
• Cook/bake goods and regenerate multi-portion trays
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness; assist with COSHH training
• Operate tills and manage vending machine areas; assist with deliveries and stock replenishment
