Job summary

Caterlink is seeking a Catering Assistant at Nayland Primary School to perform food production, food service on tills, and general cleaning in school kitchens.

This term-time role offers 10 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, a maternity cover contract for 1 year with a possibility of permanent employment thereafter, and a pay rate of £12.71 per hour.

Job Description

We are looking to employ a Catering Assistant at Nayland Primary Schoolto perform a variety of food production tasks along with food service, working on tills, and general cleaning duties in our schools. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

The role:

• £12.71 per hour


• 10 hours per week working Monday – Friday


• Term-time only – working 39weeks per year


• Maternity cover contract for 1 year initially, with a discussion for permanentemployment at the end.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks


• Assisting students with their lunches in the classrooms
