Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking a Catering Assistant in Alnwick to join a busy staff restaurant and canteen. The role involves front of house and kitchen duties, with an immediate start and ongoing work.

You will help set up buffets, serve customers, and support with washing up, keeping areas clean and organized. The position requires reliability, flexibility and availability to work 37.5 hours per week on ongoing shifts, including early mornings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or hospitality.
• Willing to work early mornings and weekends.
• Able to commit to 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Help set up and prepare buffet areas within the staff restaurant
• Serve customers during busy meal periods
• Support with washing up and general kitchen duties
• Keep the staff restaurant, canteen and kitchen areas clean and organised
• Work as part of an established catering team
• Work 5 days out of 7, including weekends, with flexibility when required
• Work either 06:00-14:00 or 11:30-20:00 shifts
