Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to provide an effective, customer-focused catering service.
• Prepare and serve food and beverages, maintaining food hygiene regulations and quality standards.
• Relief Catering Assistants provide cover for Catering Assistants as required.
• Assist customers in selecting/purchasing food and beverages in a courteous manner.
• Undertake bar duties and share responsibility for cashier duties.
• Keep designated areas clean, tidy and well maintained.
• Assist with moving and setting up furniture in designated areas.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, food hygiene and COSHH regulations.
• Commit to continuous self-development and service improvement.
• Attend and participate in service and departmental meetings.
• Perform duties as required by senior management in line with service needs.
• Promote and value diversity, ensuring equal access and treatment in employment, service delivery and communications.
