Styleacre's busy tearoom in Blewbury is seeking a friendly Catering Assistant. You will help with food prep, serving customers, running coffee, and general tearoom duties in a busy, supportive environment.

Full training is provided and no direct experience is required. The role offers daytime, mid-week hours with the possibility of weekend work, flexibility for family and school holidays, and a friendly team to work with.

Role:Catering Assistant

Salary:Age dependent, in line with government guidelines

About Our Tea Room

Come and join the team at our busy tearoom and work alongside the people we support! Your job role will include lots of training, so no direct experience necessary. We are looking for hard working individuals who like to work in a busy environment, like serving customers and can work well in our established team. This would make a great job for someone looking to work mid week, although flexibility around weekend work would be great.

Principal Responsibilities

1. To undertake all tearoom duties as requested by the management team, including:
   • Food Prep
   • Serving customers
   • Using EPOS system
   • Running food
   • Making coffees
   • Cleaning
   • Washing up
2. working alongside individuals with learning disabilities on work placement.
3. supporting employment support workers within their role.
4. Maintain high standards of hygiene, following food hygiene regulations and standards.
5. To display good communication skills and work together as a team.
6. To demonstrate and promote excellent customer service skills.
7. To ensure a high standard of food and drink preparation are maintained.
8. To ensure all monies are handled in accordance with company policy and procedures.
9. To be hard working and willing and be able to keep up with the pace of a busy tearoom.
