Interview date: Thursday 4th December 2025

Part‑time role – 12 hours per week.

Job responsibilities
  • Prepare and assemble food items – sandwiches, salads, baguettes, panini’s and salad bar.
  • General cleaning of the cold room and work area.
  • Assist with patient production line duties as required.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: GCSE (Grade D or above), Basic Food Hygiene, awareness of relevant training (e.g., Allergen information).
  • Experience: Prior work in catering (minimum 2 years), experience in food handling.
  • Knowledge: Good understanding of food safety regulations.
  • Personal skills: Identify improvement opportunities; openness to change; reliability; ability to work in a cold environment; flexibility and availability weekends.
Additional information

Cold‑room clothing (boots, socks, thermal garments, snoods, sweatshirts) will be provided.

This role is part of the Operational Estates service and may transfer to an NHS wholly‑owned subsidiary in October 2025; the new arrangement will maintain NHS AFC terms and conditions.
