Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a driven Barista to craft beautifully prepared coffees for a major High Street brand on a part-time basis (6 hours per week). You will deliver first-class service and perfectly crafted drinks to customers, with opportunities to progress within a company that invests in its people and rewards effort.

Our ideal Barista is a strong communicator with customer-service experience, able to work under pressure, keep the area clean, handle payments and learn brewing

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service experience.
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment.
• Ability to work part-time hours, including weekends, as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare perfectly blended drinks and serve high-quality food.
• Keep the bar area clean and well maintained.
• Process payments (cash and cards) accurately.
• Be an enthusiastic team player and communicate effectively.
• Maintain stock of mugs, plates and related items.
• Learn brewing methods, beverage blends and presentation techniques.
• Monitor equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Represent the brand and maintain a positive image.
• Adhere to Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting a driven Barista to help us create beautifully crafted drinks for a major High Street brand on a part time basis, contracted to 6 hours per week. As a Barista, you will use your skills to deliver first-class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Keeping the bar area clean
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
• Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Representing Asda and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
