A local council is seeking a Catering Assistant and Barista to provide excellent customer service in a dynamic environment. The role involves preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and managing waste in multi-site locations. Ideal candidates will have experience in catering or hospitality, barista skills, and be able to work on a rota basis including weekends and evenings. Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in a dynamic environment? We're seeking a Catering Assistant and Barista to join our team. Your role will involve preparing and serving hot and cold food and beverages while ensuring high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate would ideally have experience working in a public-facing role, preferably in a catering or hospitality setting. Experience will include food preparation, barista skills, and maintaining high hygiene standards. You'll create a welcoming atmosphere for customers, work effectively as part of a team, and handle cash transactions accurately.
The full-time position will work an average of 37 hours per week on a rota basis. Early morning, weekend and evening working will be required.
You will be exposed to multiple sites within the Leisure World portfolio and in this multi-skilled role, there will be every opportunity for training, growth, development, and promotion.
