Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Catering Assistant at St Pius X Primary School in Middlesbrough. The role is term-time only with no weekend work, 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, across 38 weeks, starting September, at a rate of £12.71 per hour.

You will assist in the preparation and service of lunch-time meals, maintain high hygiene and safety standards, keep kitchen and dining areas tidy, and provide friendly, efficient service to pupils and staff while upholding Caterlink's brand image.

Qualifications

• Term-time only role with no weekends and 10 hours per week over 38 weeks.
• DBS check will be required (enhanced disclosure).
• Experience in food service and kitchen hygiene is advantageous.

Job Description

We are hiring for a Catering Assistant atSt Pius X Primary School, Amersham Road, Park End, Middlesbrough, TS3 7HD, to perform a variety of food production tasks along with food service in our schools. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

The role:

• £12.71per hour
• 10 hours per week working Monday – Friday
• Term-time only – working 38 weeks per year
• September Start

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation and Service of lunch time meals
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state
• Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers
