Job summary

Aspens Services Ltd., a market-leading contract caterer specialising in school food, is seeking a Catering Assistant to support our busy kitchen during the lunchtime service. You will help with basic food preparation and deliver excellent service to students and staff, with full training provided.

Working Monday to Friday during school term time (20 hours per week) as a fixed-term maternity cover, this role offers a great work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or fast-paced service.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 is preferred but not essential as training is provided.
• Willingness to work term-time, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Customer Interaction: Working on the tills during service with full training provided.
• Front-Line Service: Providing friendly, polite customer service to all students and staff.
