Calderdale College is looking to recruit a Catering Assistant to support the provision of Catering Services. The role will be providing a professional, friendly and efficient service to all customers at the College. Providing a customer focused service within the refectory and shop. The role also will involve cleaning of areas operated by the Catering Department, maintaining high standards of hygiene and customer service.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic, committed and flexible attitude towards customers and other team members, recognising the importance and benefits of effective team working, whilst also being able to work independently.
Experience of working within a retail style outlet in a catering establishment, as well as preparation and serving of food and non-food items. Experience of general kitchen duties and till operation and cash handling are essential.
This is a permanent position which offers an excellent benefits package including a final salary pension scheme.
