Job summary

Aspens Services Ltd is recruiting a Catering Assistant to support the school kitchen during the lunchtime service in Rotherham, operating on term-time hours.

You will work on the tills during service, provide friendly customer service to students and staff, assist with basic food preparation, and help maintain a clean, safe kitchen in line with Health and Safety standards. Training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or fast-paced service.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 is preferred but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Customer Interaction: Working on the tills during service with training provided.
• Front-Line Service: Providing friendly, polite service to students and staff.
• Essential Support: Assisting the team with basic food preparation.
