Job summary

Impact Food Group (IFG) is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our school catering team at Cedar Children's Academy, Rochester. The role runs Monday to Friday, 10am–2pm (20 hours per week) during 37 weeks of the year (term time only).

You’ll assist in food preparation, serve customers at the counter, operate the till, and maintain hygiene in kitchen and dining areas. A free meal on shift, access to training, and staff discounts are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or retail customer service preferred.
• Comfort working in a school environment and with the public.
• Able to work 20 hours per week during term time.

About the role

Job Title: Catering Assistant

School Location: Cedar Children's Academy, Rochester, ME2 2JP

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts & Working hours: 10am-2pm (20 hours per week)

Working Weeks: 37weeks per year (term time only)

Pay Details: £10,422.20 per Annum

What You’ll Be Doing:
