Catering Assistant

Contract: Healthcare

Location: Liverpool, L9 7LJ

Hours of work: 35

Working Pattern: Hours between 07:30-18:30 (Mon - Sun. Every other weekend required)

Contract Type: Permanent

Hourly Rate: £12.36

As a Catering Assistant with ISS UK, you will be both a warm front‑of‑house ambassador and a key member of our catering operation, helping to prepare and serve food while ensuring every guest feels welcomed, supported, and engaged.

The Role

• Deliver exceptional customer service and create positive experiences for guests and colleagues
• Assist with preparation and service of food, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
• Engage with guests, answering queries about the site, facilities, and catering services
• Promote workplace amenities, catering options, and on‑site activities
• Build rapport and foster relationships with guests and colleagues
• Share ideas to improve the workplace, site experience, and catering operations
• Represent the catering and operations teams professionally, reflecting ISS values

• Enthusiastic approach to work
• Catering experience is preferred - but a positive, can‑do attitude is essential
• Good understanding of the principals of food hygiene
• Can follow instructions but is not scared to make your own decisions for what's best for the customer
• Making sure the customer come first, ensuring their experience is an exceptional one
