Overview

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Fixed term (6 months) Catering Assistant to join our team in Glennifer High school, Amorchie Road Paisley PA2 0AG. The standard hours of work are 15 Hours per week (shift pattern Monday - Friday 11.15am - 14.15pm).

Amey delivers facilities and estate management services to the Renfrew Schools Private Finance Initiative across an estate of nine schools. Every day our people create high-quality learning environments - ensuring they are safe, clean and compliant for teachers to inspire and where students can gain meaningful skills and qualifications. We work in partnership with our clients and end-users to ensure our 24/7 services are delivered to the highest standard with minimum impact or disruption to day-to-day operational requirements of the schools.

What you will do
  • Basic preparation of food and drinks; preparation of vegetables and snacks.
  • Simple cooking of food (including the heating and/or reconstitution of convenience foods and vegetables).
  • Transportation and serving of meals (including the packing and unpacking of food into containers).
  • Washing up and clearing away equipment.
  • Cash handling.
  • Cleaning of the kitchen, its surrounds and the equipment.
