Job summary

Aspens Services Ltd is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our school kitchen team in Nottingham. You will help with basic food preparation and provide friendly, efficient service during the lunchtime rush.

This role is term-time, 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with no late nights or weekends. Training is provided, and a DBS check will be required.

Qualifications

• Team player with ability to work in a busy team
• Experience in catering or fast-paced service environments
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices
• Food Hygiene Level 2 is advantageous but training will be provided

Responsibilities

• Handle customer interaction at tills during service with training provided
• Deliver front-line service with polite, friendly communication to students and staff
• Assist the team with basic food preparation
• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment complying with Health & Safety standards
