Job Description

We are hiring for a Catering Assistant at Cornwallis Academy to perform a variety of food production tasks along with food service in our schools. This role is working term-time only and involves no weekends, making it ideal for those seeking flexibility.

The role:

• £12.21 per hour
• 18.75 hours per week, working Monday – Friday, 10:55 am - 2:40 pm
• Term-time only – working 188 days per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks and serving on tills/counters
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
• Keeping the kitchen, counter, and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state
• Providing friendly, efficient, and hygienic service to all customers
• Representing Caterlink and maintaining a positive brand image
