Job summary

Aspens Services Ltd is hiring a Catering Assistant for our school kitchen in Luton. You will support basic food preparation, work on the tills during service and help ensure a friendly, efficient lunchtime experience for students and staff.

You’ll join a busy team during term time, with Monday to Friday shifts, an emphasis on safety and cleanliness, and full training provided for the Food Hygiene standards. DBS disclosure is required.

Qualifications

• Team player with experience in catering or fast-paced service.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 is great, but training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Customer interaction on tills during service with full training provided.
• Front-line service to students and staff with friendly, polite conduct.
• Assist the team with basic food preparation and maintain kitchen standards.
• Ensure a safe, clean kitchen and comply with health and safety rules.
