Aspens Services, a market-leading contract caterer for schools, is seeking a Catering Assistant in Liverpool to support the kitchen during lunch service and ensure high-quality service for students and staff.

You’ll work Monday to Friday during school term time, 20 hours per week across 38 weeks per year, at £13.20 per hour. Training is provided, and safeguarding requirements may apply to the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or fast-paced service.
• Ability to work as part of a busy team.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 is not essential; training provided.

The role

As a Catering Assistant, you will be a vital part of the team, supporting our kitchen in basic food preparation and delivering excellent service that makes the lunchtime rush run smoothly.

• We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service to our schools.

• You have previous catering or fast-paced service experience.
• You have a basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• The Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification is great, but not essential as we can provide the training.
