OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a kitchen assistant to support daily food prep, maintain cleanliness and assist with deliveries. You will serve items per the Chefs' menu and keep vending stocked, contributing to smooth service in a busy catering environment.

The role requires basic knife skills, time management, and the ability to work under pressure. A desire to learn and flexibility with hours will help you succeed in this varied role at OCS UK & Ireland.

About The Role

• Top up the vending services daily

Working Pattern

10:30 - 14:30 working 5 days over 7

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Help with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, trimming, and making sandwiches and salads

What are we looking for?

• Commercial kitchen experience is highly valued but not essential
• Possess a basic Catering and Hospitality certificate such as Food Handling or equivalent is desired but not essential as we can provide this for you
• Must have basic knife skills, food preparation skills, and time management skills.
• Can work under pressure and excellent organisational skills are also important
• Can stand for extended periods is often necessary due to the physical nature of the job

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Must have the Right to Work in the UK
• Must be prepared to undergo a DBS or Enhanced security check
• Good time-management and organisational abilities
