Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is hiring a kitchen assistant to support daily food preparation, service, and cleanliness in a busy facility. You will peel, chop, trim, and assemble sandwiches and salads, while helping to maintain hygienic cooking areas.

The role requires basic knife skills, reliable time management, and the ability to stand for extended periods. Right to work in the UK and DBS/enhanced check may be required; training can be provided for the necessary certifications.

Qualifications

• Commercial kitchen experience is highly valued but not essential.
• Food Handling or equivalent certificate desired but not essential as we can provide this for you.
• Must have basic knife skills, food preparation skills, and time management skills.
• Can work under pressure and excellent organisational skills are also important.
• Can stand for extended periods is often necessary due to the physical nature of the job.

Responsibilities

Working Pattern

Working 10am - 2pm 6 days per week

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
