Job summary

OCS Group in Goole is seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our catering operations. You will help deliver food and drink to clients and site visitors during night shifts.

The role involves 5 nights out of 7, 10pm-3am, with emphasis on hygiene, stock replenishment, and teamwork. No formal experience required, on-the-job training to gain a food handling certificate.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
• Autonomous in approach but able to work well in a team.
• Willing to obtain a Food Handling Certificate if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Support with catering-related tasks within the kitchen environment and surrounding areas.
• Assisting with the service of food and drink within operational hours.
• Supporting with hygiene documentation and administration.
• Assisting with stock replenishment and storage of deliveries.

About The Role:

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and driven Catering Assistant to join our successful catering operational team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering our outstanding food and drink offering to our clients and site visitors.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Support with catering-related tasks within the kitchen environment and surrounding areas.
• Assisting with the service of food and drink within operational hours
• Supporting with hygiene documentation and administration
• Assisting with stock replenishment and storage of deliveries

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
• Someone who is willing to attain the highest standards possible.
• We are looking for an employee that is autonomous in their approach but also happy to work well in a team.
• Ideally, you will have your food handling certificate – but don’t worry if you don’t, we can help you achieve this!
• We want a self-driven and reliable employee, who wants to learn and develop!

Due to the nature of this role, you will need access to a smartphone that can support our approved work applications for tasks such as clocking in and out (if you are required to use our time and attendance system for your role), viewing schedules, completing training and receiving work‑related communications.
