Job summary

Aspens Services Ltd invites applications for a Catering Assistant to support our school kitchen. You’ll help with basic food preparation and provide friendly service to students and staff during the lunch rush. Training is provided for till operations and health and safety practices are emphasised.

You’ll work Monday to Friday during school term time, 20 hours per week across 38 weeks per year, earning £12.71 per hour. DBS clearance is noted as part of safeguarding commitments.

Qualifications

• Team player with ability to work in busy school catering environments.
• Experience in catering or fast-paced service is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices required or trained.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers at till during service with training provided.
• Provide front-line, friendly service to students and staff.
• Assist with basic food preparation and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
