Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a Catering Assistant to join a busy, customer-facing team. You’ll help prepare delicious, high-quality food, present appealing displays, and represent Chartwells with a positive brand image.

This role involves handling transactions, following food hygiene and health & safety standards, and working across a 39.9-week year pattern. A friendly, reliable team player with a can-do attitude will thrive here and grow with us.

• Experience in catering or hospitality is helpful but enthusiasm matters.

Please note: This role is contracted to 39.9 weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
• Crafting eye-catching food and counter displays that draw customers in
• Proudly representing Chartwells and and embodying our positive brand image
• Handling transactions with ease and operating the cash register efficiently
• Upholding the highest standards of Food Handling & Hygiene
• Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to Health & Safety regulations
