Job summary

Impact Food Group is hiring a Catering Assistant for Stocksbridge Junior School. Working hours are 11.30am-1.30pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only, 37 weeks per year, delivering friendly, hygienic service and helping with food prep.

You’ll serve at the counter, operate the till, and keep kitchen and dining areas clean while supporting a team dedicated to great service and safe, quality meals for students. DBS check will be completed.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills; catering or retail experience preferred.
• Friendly, efficient and hygienic service in a school setting.
• Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

About the role

Job Title: Catering Assistant

School Location: Stocksbridge Junior School, Stocksbridge, S36 1AS

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts & Working hours: 11.30am-1.30pm (10hours per week)

Working Weeks: 37weeks per year (term time only)

Pay Details: £5,211.10 per Annum

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Work as part of the catering team to provide a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service.
• Assist in preparing food and snacks for the site.
• Serve customers at the counter and operate the till.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
