Job summary

Impact Food Group (IFG) is recruiting a Catering Assistant for Coloma Convent Girls’ School in Croydon. The role runs Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 2:30pm, term-time (37 weeks per year) with a salary of £18,238.85 per annum.

You will work as part of the catering team to provide friendly, efficient service, help prepare food and snacks, serve customers, and keep kitchens and dining areas clean and safe. You’ll gain free meals on shift, access to free qualifications and development opportunities,

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience in catering or retail is preferred but not required.

About the role

Job Title: Catering Assistant

School Location: Coloma Convent Girls’ School, Croydon, Croydon, CR9 5AS

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts & Working hours: 7.30am-2.30pm (35hours per week)

Working Weeks: 37weeks per year (term time only)

Pay Details: £18,238.85 per Annum

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Work as part of the catering team to provide a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service.
• Assist in preparing food and snacks for the site.
• Serve customers at the counter and operate the till.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
