We're looking for a Catering Assistant who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to cleaning schedules. Hourly Rate of Pay: £12.21 Monday to Wednesday and £13.21 on Saturday and Sunday Position Type: Permanent Type of Employment: Full Time Total Weekly Contractual Hours: 37.5 Location: CHP-Finchley Memorial Hospital, Granville Road, London, Greater London, England, N12 0JE

Role Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain dining and service areas, including furniture, trolleys, and cleaning equipment.
• Serve food in correct portions and wash dishes, cutlery, and catering equipment.
• Clean all catering areas daily and follow health and safety standards.
• Maintain temperature records and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients managers, and colleagues to deliver excellent service.
• Collect menus from patients following food safety procdures
• Deliver a tea trolley to patients
• Assist in the kitchen with sandwich and salad making

What we're looking for

• Previous catering experience in a similar environment (desirable).
• Basic Food Hygiene and Health & Safety certificates (training provided if not held).
• Adequate numeracy, literacy, and communication skills.
• Passion for customer service and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Adaptable, detail-oriented, and confident with strong organisational and time management skills.
