Caterlink is seeking a Catering Assistant at Abbots Green Primary Academy in Bury St Edmunds. The role focuses on food production, service at the counter, tills, and general cleaning within a school environment.

Working term-time only with no weekends, you will join a friendly team and contribute to high standards of safety and service. DBS disclosure is required for this role.

Competenze

• Term-time only role; 39 weeks/year.
• 15 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 10:00–13:00.
• Experience in catering is helpful but not required.

Job Description

We are looking to employ a Catering Assistant at Abbots Green Primary Academy, Bury St Edmunds to perform a variety of food production tasks along with food service, working on tills, and general cleaning duties in our schools. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

The role:

• £12.71 per hour
• 15hours per week working Monday – Friday, 10am- 1pm
• Term-time only – working 39weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of tasty food
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state
• Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all students and school staff
• Representing Caterlink and maintaining a positive brand image
