Job summary

Impact Food Group is seeking a Catering Assistant at Willow Grove Primary School in Bedford for a 4-month fixed-term contract. You’ll work 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–2:00pm, term-time only, delivering friendly, efficient service and helping with food preparation and service.

• Excellent customer service skills preferred.
• Experience in catering or retail is a plus.
• Willing to undergo enhanced DBS check.

About the role

Job Title: Catering Assistant - 4 Month FTC

School Location: Willow Grove Primary School, Bedford, MK42 6EY

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts & Working hours: 8:30am-2pm (27.5hours per week)

Working Weeks: 32weeks per year (term time only)

Pay Details: £12,582.90 per Annum

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Work as part of the catering team to provide a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service.
• Assist in preparing food and snacks for the site.
• Serve customers at the counter and operate the till.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
