Milton Abbey School is a private school for day and boarding pupils in the village of Milton Abbass, near Blanfordin Dorset. It has 224 pupils as of September 2023, in five houses: Athelstan, Damer, Hambro, Hodgkinson and Tregonwell. The school was founded in 1954 and is co-educational. The school has facilities that include a golf course, a 15th-century dining hall, an Abbey chapel that can be traced back to the 10th century.

Job Description

Key Areas of Responsibility

Administration

  • Maintain accurate employee records working proactively and diligently and with discretion.
  • Receive, scan and distribute documentation through paper and digital copy. Update databases, spreadsheets with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Understand payroll, time and attendance systems and to support some elements of payroll.
  • Maintain records of meetings to include meeting notes, diary dates and attendees.
  • Liaise with managers, team members and health & safety team.
  • Daily check of due diligence records
  • Processing of invoices, credit notes on our online system
  • Process all hospitality bookings, free issues, and event bookings and record accurately on reconciliation spreadsheet
  • Fulfil any other duties as requested from time-to-time

Learning & Development

  • Assist in organising training and development for team members and managers.
  • Maintain training records and update the learning management system.

Qualifications
