Job summary

Kenny Recruit in the UK is seeking a Category & Market Development Manager for an ambitious FMCG business expanding in the UK market. You will blend strategic thinking with hands-on execution across multiple product categories, shaping category strategies, launches, pricing and go-to-market plans while collaborating with local and international stakeholders to drive revenue and profitability.

Location Basildon with office-based work and on Fridays option to work remotely, in a role offering

Qualifications

3-5 years' experience in Category Management, Marketing, Commercial or similar role.
Experience in FMCG, retail or fast-paced consumer goods environment.
Strong understanding of the marketing mix and product launches.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute commercial and market development strategies across multiple product categories.
Create business plans, manage category budgets and monitor KPIs to drive growth.
Own category performance by analyzing sales data and identifying revenue opportunities.
Develop pricing strategies, product positioning and go-to-market plans.
Coordinate product launches with internal stakeholders.
Adapt marketing campaigns to local market requirements while maintaining brand consistency.
Optimise retail execution and improve product visibility and customer experience.
Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders across markets.
Monitor market trends and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
