Overview

Category Manager (Indirect/ IT Procurement)

Location: Based in Leeds (working 2 days in office)

Salary: To £60,000 plus strong benefits package

Grafton Recruitment are working with a large international corporate to appoint a Category Manager who will manage group indirect, and technology spend.

You will be an experienced procurement professional with knowledge of managing key suppliers, leading those supplier relationships, and negotiating and implementing contracts for goods and services.

This role will take responsibility for working alongside the stakeholders in the business to lead tenders and contract award for categories that include IT products and services, and professional services spend. You will need to have excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, as well as strong project management skills.

This role offers a great opportunity to lead category strategy for defined areas and negotiate high value contracts. You will be part of a large and sophisticated procurement team.
