Job summary

TVS SCS in the United Kingdom invites applications for a Purchasing / Supply Chain specialist focused on Cost Base Reduction. You will capture and analyse data on the current supply base, develop strategy plans with stakeholders, and support tendering and contract management by creating documentation packs.

You will build supplier development initiatives, manage key categories, negotiate with internal and external stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement to lower costs while maintaining

Qualifications

• Experience in Purchasing / Supply Chain environment.
• HND/Degree level qualification; MCIPS or working towards.
• Professional and ethical in approach.
• Proven ability to persuade, influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
• Excellent communicator at all levels.
• Good understanding of Supply Chain Management and Procurement, including best practise purchasing and sourcing tools and techniques.
• MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Capture and analyse data on the existing supply chain, the commercial markets and potential new entrants to the market.
• Create and maintain strategy plans with stakeholders to deliver CBR and availability requirements.
• Capture all documentation developed by Category and Acquisition and Contracts Management to support tendering of Category requirements.
• Identify and enact Supplier Development opportunities that add value and drive out cost.
• Hold commodity expertise and manage key categories.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for data gathering and analysis to update the Category Strategy.
• Develop and prepare commercial product specifications.
