A healthcare organization is seeking a Category Manager for its Procurement Team just outside Southampton. The role involves managing procurement strategies for corporate services and technology, sourcing goods and services, and overseeing contract management. The position offers a hybrid working pattern and a salary range of £47,810 to £54,710. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in strategic sourcing and stakeholder management.
We are delighted to be working with the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust to recruit a new Category Manager for the Procurement Team based just outside Southampton.
HIOW Healthcare unites services from Southern Health, Solent NHS Trust, Isle of Wight NHS Trusts community and mental health teams, as well as Hampshire CAMHS, originally part of Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
With over 13,000 dedicated staff working across more than 300 sites, the Trust places patients and staff at the centre of everything it does with the goal to create an integrated healthcare system that improves accessibility and ensures more consistent care, improving patient outcomes, driving innovation, and meeting the unique needs of the populations it serves.
Whilst the work will be corporate services and technology focused; you will also have the opportunity to work across other procurement category areas to support delivery of the work plan.
The weekly hybrid working pattern is 2 days a week in the office (Tatchbury Mount, Southampton) and 3 days working from home.
It is advisable that you have your own transport (the office is 5 minutes from the M27 Ower Interchange).
This is an NHS Band 7 position with a salary range of £47,810 to £54,710.
