Job Description

We are looking for an Indirect Category Manager based in Milton Keynes to join our team of procurement professionals. In this role, you will help shape the future of our procurement strategies and supplier relationships across indirect, services, and Capex spend, while also managing a large portfolio budget.

What you’ll do:

• Develop, implement sourcing and category strategies with key stakeholder buy-in.
• Manage supplier relationships which includes but not limited to resolving issues and ensuring robust contracts and SLAs are in place
• Champion best-in-class purchasing practices across the business, ensuring procurement's value is understood at all levels
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies
• Deliver and track productivity and efficiencies through hard dollar saving initiatives monthly / quarterly / annually
• Implement supplier business reviews and identify strategic and/or preferred suppliers, maintain existing and/or establish favorable long-term agreements

What you’ll bring:

• Degree level of education, with Indirect Procurement Experience working through global procurement strategies and strategic sourcing
• CIPS Qualified / Equivalent or working towards at an advanced stage
• Strong sourcing, procurement and contract negotiation skills – MSA’s, SLA’s, Supply Agreements
• Well-developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Experience of report writing, contract management and data generation
• Excellent analytical skills with good attention to detail and proficiency in using Excel
