Intact Insurance, the UK entity formerly RSA, is seeking a Category Lead to join the Sourcing Centre of Excellence in a hybrid role. You will drive end-to-end sourcing across multiple categories, ensuring compliant and timely commercial support, while collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver value and maintain governance.

The role emphasizes ESG and responsible sourcing within procurement frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement or commercial environments.
• Practical experience running RFQs, mini-tenders or supplier evaluations.
• Ability to operate across multiple categories and adapt to requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and governance capabilities.
• Good commercial awareness and structured decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sourcing execution across multiple categories within frameworks and thresholds.
• Manage end-to-end sourcing activity from supplier engagement to award and handover.
• Ensure activity complies with procurement policies and governance standards.
• Maintain pace, consistency and quality, meeting timelines and service expectations.
• Prepare clear sourcing documentation including supplier communications and audit trails.
• Escalate higher-risk or out-of-scope initiatives to the right stakeholders.
