About the Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic and curious Category & Insight Executive to join our UK Poultry team - an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin their career in category management and consumer insights within food manufacturing.

You’ll gain hands‑on experience across both customer‑facing category work - visiting stores and monitoring new product launches - and insight work, analysing consumer panels and data sources to uncover what drives shopper choice. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn, grow, and shape your career path within a leading UK food manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Insight Manager with consumer data collection, surveys, polls, and message boards from our panel of consumers
  • Analyse data from retailer sources to identify trends in volume, value, and shopper behaviour
  • Support the Category team by visiting stores, monitoring new product launches, and tracking competitor activity
  • Spot emerging food trends, particularly across social media and digital platforms, and share insights with the wider team
  • Prepare reports and presentations in Excel and PowerPoint to share insights with key stakeholders across Sales, NPD, and Commercial teams
About You

You’ll be naturally inquisitive, data-driven, and passionate about understanding what makes consumers tick. You’ll have a great eye for detail, an interest in the food industry, and a strong desire to learn and grow within category and insight management.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys analysing data, spotting trends, and bringing insights to life in a commercial setting.

  • Positive attitude and eager to learn
  • Interest in food trends and social media platforms
Benefits
  • 33 days annual leave inclusive of the bank holidays
  • Refer a friend scheme
  • Health Assured Employee Assistance Programme and Grocery Aid - free and confidential support 365 days a year
  • Boparan Restaurant Group Discount - 50% discount for friends and family at Giraffe World Kitchen, Harry Ramsden, Ed's Easy Diner, and Burger & Cocktails
  • Cycle2Work Scheme
