Job summary

Boots is seeking a Category Assistant in the Healthcare Business Unit to support promotions, pricing and range strategy for Digestive Health & Eyecare. The role is based in Nottingham and involves collaborating with marketing, pricing and trading teams to drive sales and customer experience.

You will gain exposure to campaign management, spend tracking and supplier relations while developing category expertise and cross-functional collaboration within Boots.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• In-depth understanding of SAP programmes.
• Strong communication skills, face-to-face and via Teams or email.
• Ability to develop knowledge of category strategy, performance and range.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the delivery of customer promotions by setting up campaign offers on the Boots SAP system.
• Collaborate with marketing and pricing teams to ensure accurate setup of promotions.
• Confirm promotional funding with suppliers and maintain a tracker for invoicing.
• Check invoice calculations and coordinate with the Trading Process team for accuracy.
• Assist the assistant category manager in reviewing competitor pricing activity.
• Support the stores help desk and customer care team with category-related queries.
• Run sales reports and analyse data for the team and suppliers.
• Raise Purchase Orders for marketing and merchandising activities.
