Michael Page is recruiting for a Catastrophic Injury NQ/Associate/Senior Associate based in Manchester, offering hybrid working and a clear path to progression. You will manage complex catastrophic injury cases from start to finish, provide specialist legal advice, draft pleadings, and negotiate settlements with insurers.

You will join a leading UK firm with a focus on catastrophic injury and large loss, working within a supportive team to ensure quality client service and compliant practices.

Qualifications

• A qualified solicitor focusing on catastrophic injury or personal injury cases.
• Strong technical knowledge of relevant legal practices and procedures.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex caseloads independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage catastrophic injury claims from start to finish, ensuring timely and effective case handling.
• Provide legal advice and support to clients in relation to complex injury cases.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings and correspondence.
• Conduct legal research to support case preparation and resolution.
• Negotiate settlements and liaise with opposing parties, insurers and other stakeholders.
• Attend court hearings and advocate on behalf of clients when required.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with professional and legal standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and improve processes.
