Job summary

Pertemps is seeking a HGV Class 2 Driver for an operation in Patchway. You will perform multi-drop deliveries of tiles, kitchens and bathroom products to showrooms, homes and hotels, starting early each weekday.

Ongoing PAYE role with a view to permanent placement after successful weeks; earn £15.80/h, with overtime £23.70/h and weekly pay. 40–45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, starts 06:00.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence, Cat C (Class 2)
• CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No DD/DR/IN endorsements

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries (2–6 drops per day)
• Deliveries to commercial and residential addresses
• Load handling incl. forklift materials and some manual handling
• Provide a professional, friendly service to customers

HGV Class 2 Driver – Patchway£15.80 per hour PAYE | £23.70 overtime | Monday to Friday | Temporary to PermanentWe are currently recruiting for Class 2 Drivers to join an operation based in Patchway.As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering a range of tiles, kitchens and bathroom products to a variety of locations, including showrooms, private homes and hotels.

• £15.80 per hour PAYE
• £23.70 per hour overtime paid after 15:30
• Monday to Friday
• 06:00 starts
• Approximately 40–45 hours per week
• Weekly pay
• Opportunity for a permanent contract after 12 successful weeks via agency

The role will involve:

• Multi-drop deliveries, typically 2–6 drops per day
• Deliveries to commercial and residential addresses
• Loads are mainly forklifted off, although some handballing/lifting will be required
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
• Completing deliveries safely and efficiently

The right candidate:

• A valid UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence
• Current CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A minimum of 6 months' Class 2 driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No DD, DR or IN endorsements
• Good customer service skills
• A professional and reliable approach
• The ability to carry out some manual handling when required
