Job summary

Evri Group is recruiting HGV Class 1 Night Drivers for the Lakeside Depot in West Thurrock. You will drive night routes, manage depot paperwork, and assist with heavier items when needed. Full-time contracts, 40 hours per week, with night shifts starting around 23:00.

£19.52 per hour with overtime at £29.28, plus a 3% pension contribution and life assurance. Flexible benefits include vouchers, insurance and healthcare to suit you.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) entitlement.
• Driver CPC and digital tachograph.
• Newly qualified drivers welcome; a short driving assessment will be undertaken.
• Reasonable physical fitness.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles on night routes from depots to clients and sites.
• Ensure parcels are collected and delivered safely and paperwork updated.
• Assist depot staff with heavier items when required.
• Be prepared to adapt routes and report issues on bad weather/road conditions.

We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities forHGV Class 1 Night Drivers(or Cat C+E Drivers as we sometimes call them) to join ourgrowing Lakeside Depot.

What You’ll Do:

OurHGV Class 1 driversusually drive our longer routes in waves, ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles from depots to our clients and other sites in theEVRinetwork.You’llensure parcels are collected and deliveredsafely;paperwork updated andassistdepot staff with heavier items from time to time. We know the great British roads and weatherdon’talways play nicely, soyou’llneed to keep us updated with any problems. We can then help find an alternative route.

Our HGV Class 1 drivers work on shifts. Full-time contracts are 40 hours per week with some weekends.
